It's an ill wind that does no good

There is no doubt that the property market has collapsed and that willing lenders are thin on the ground. it is also true that many businesses, saddled with debt, are unable to continue trading.
If you have funds available there may be opportunities to make investments now at values that may not be seen again for some time.
There may also be opportunities for corporate restructuring with Banks forced to take a realistic approach to existing borrowings. It is possible that, with the right legal and accountancy team, the recession may work to your advantage!
We have recently acted for a number of Companies that have been able to acquire successful trading businesses from Administrators appointed by the Banks. In some case the Banks are prepared to write off significant sums to keep a business going.
