Farmers - more good news!!
Tue, Oct, 2013Agriculture and Rural Develpment Minister Michelle O'Neill recently launched a series of CAFRE succession planning seminars designed to help farmers plan for the future - www.northernireland.gov.uk/news-dard-291013-oneill-launches-succession.
These seminars have been organised in conjunction with the Ulster Farmers Union and NIAPA.
Farmers should be aware that a Grant of £250.00 towards the cost of legal or financial advice is available to assist farm families to plan for the future of the farm family and business.
The Grant is available to those who take part in the Farm Family Options Mentoring Programme funded by the NI Rural Development Programme.
To be eligible, the applicant must be actively farming with a DARD Business ID number. Participation in the Programme itself is free and will be arranged at a time that suits the farm family.
